The International Relations Office forms part of Melbourne International, which comprises:

The International Relations Office provides support to the University in international policy development and coordination of services to the Senior Executive; coordinates the establishment, development, and review of the University's formal bilateral and multilateral relations with overseas universities; provides research, advisory, and secretariat services to the International Committee; coordinates and supports international functions and visits undertaken by members of the Senior Executive; manages the international visitor program for short-term visitors to the University; and liaises with key government and non-government agencies and diplomatic missions in Australia and overseas.

Location
The International Relations Office is located on level 3 of the John Smyth Building (Building 197), Swanston Street, Parkville.
Any visitors arriving at the Office by taxi should ask to be let down at Gate 6. There is easy access by tram. Swanston Street is a major route for the City of Melbourne tram service, and any tram bearing the destination of Melbourne University will bring visitors direct to the University. The closest stop to the John Smyth Building is adjacent to Gate 5.
